A classic muscle back iron for the player seeking the ability to shape and control the ball flight with the ultimate feel, aimed at elite to low handicap.
To make the club more playable and provide more forgiving characteristics, the shape and weight distribution have been refined.
Following feedback from its tour players, the blade has been made shorter on the pw-iron 8 to match their preferences.
Underneath the hitting surface is a soft copper base to create higher ball speed and provide the ultimate Mizuno feel.

Soft Copper Underlay

While traditional irons utilize a 4 step forging process, the KING irons add a fifth step to deliver exceptional soft feel that better players demand. Each iron is crafted and 5-step forged from 1025 carbon steel for a more uniform grain structure and precise shaping.

Controlled Shot Shaping

A key to the enhanced forgiveness of the TOUR irons are the CNC milled undercuts in the back of each iron, which allow weight to be repositioned to lower CG for improved launch conditions, and more stability on off center hits.

Thicker Behind Impact

Mass relocated from the heel area to muscle pad produces a slightly muted sound preferred in our ‘blind’ tour tests.
